Regional Australia Bank is pleased to announce a milestone partnership with Woolgoolga Curryfest, a festival of culture and cuisine on the beautiful mid-north coast of NSW.
From 2016 the event will be known as The Regional Australia Bank Woolgoolga Curryfest and both organisations are excited by the opportunities this partnership brings.
Curryfest Event Manager, Carl Mower, says: "We're delighted to be partnering with Regional Australia Bank. There's a really genuine alignment between our two organisations particularly our strong community values and also our commitment to support the mid-north coast community."
The partnership deal is part of Regional Australia Bank's ongoing commitment to support the regional communities within which it operates and reaffirms the institutions promise to give back - both socially and environmentally.
Kevin Dupé, CEO, Regional Australia Bank explains "Regional Australia Bank is a champion for regional prosperity and the Woolgoolga Curryfest has proven itself to be highly effective in driving the prosperity of the mid-north Coast region by showcasing the character and culture of the area and increasing visitation to the region."
The event, which has recently been recognised by the NSW Government as a regional flagship event, draws visitors from the New England, Hunter and Orana regions – the same areas where you will find Regional Australia Bank branches.
"Our partnership deal has been designed to foster even stronger relationships with our local communities and to celebrate the quality of life we are so lucky to have here in regional Australia," Mr Dupé added.
The Regional Australia Bank Woolgoolga Curryfest, promises to be a sensational day, with a stellar line-up of performances including, the inaugural Bhangra Dance Competition set to take place on the main stage. There will also be the usual amazing curry dishes from around the world to tantalise the taste buds of every visitor.
The Regional Australia Bank Woolgoolga Curryfest is on Saturday, 24 September 2016 throughout the central business district and beachside reserve of Woolgoolga.
