Over the past few years, we’ve experienced a change in the way customers choose to conduct their banking. Many now prefer to transact online and as such, over-the-counter branch transactions have been rapidly decreasing. In fact, many of our local customers are now not visiting the branch at all.
In response to this trend, we have conducted a review of our face-to-face banking service and are implementing a change in opening hours for a few of our branches. This will include Laurieton branch, Gloucester branch, Wingham Branch and Tea Gardens branch. From 3 February 2020, our staff will now be available to assist you with over-the-counter banking from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays.
Being a member-owned, locally-based organisation, we are determined to remain part of the fabric of our local community so long as it is sustainable. To this end, our specialist staff and Service Support Centre will remain available to provide excellent support for lending, and general enquiries over the phone outside of the branch’s opening hours. We see these changes as adapting to a changing world, allowing us to be sustainable while maintaining strong relationships in our smaller communities into the future.
