Update to our Fees & Charges

We’re pleased to announce that effective September 1st 2019, we're bringing some fee relief for many of our members.

As you would now be aware, Holiday Coast Credit Union merged with Regional Australia Bank on 1st July, 2019. We are delighted to bring you some tangible benefits in the form of fee relief for many of our members.

As of September 1st, 2019 we will be removing the External Transfer and Periodical Payment Fee ($2.25 per transaction) and our Phone Banking System Bill Payment Fee ($2.25 per transaction) from our fees and charges. The removal of these fees represent a tangible benefit of the recent merger as we seek to deliver value back to the membership at every opportunity.

We have also made changes to our Default Daily Transfer Limits, enabling members to transfer larger amounts via our Internet Banking and Mobile App. These include:

Transferring between your own Regional Australia Bank accounts Unlimited
Transferring to another bank or financial institution: 10,000.00 per day
Transferring to another bank or financial institution using Osko $2,000.00 per day
International Payments $5,000.00 per day
BPAY Transactions Unlimited

Further, we have reviewed and updated some of our more ad-hoc Service Fees. These include:

Dormant Account Fee This fee applies if your account becomes dormant, which is the result of no member generated transaction activity for a period of seven (7) years. This will incur a $15.00 fee.
Foreign Currency Cheque Dishonour Fee This fee applies when a foreign currency cheque or draft that has been deposited into an account has been dishonoured. This will incur a $30.00 fee.
Currency Conversion Fee (for overseas Visa and Access card use) Overseas withdrawals and purchases made using your Regional Australia Bank Visa Debit or Access Card will incur a 3.5% currency conversion fee.
Emergency Visa Card Fee If your card is lost or stolen whilst overseas, a replacement card can be replaced within 2 business days. This will incur a US$300.00 fee.

We have now also included a section on fees relating to discontinued products. They reference the existing fees paid by former Holiday Credit Union members who continue to maintain these accounts.
