The Role

Reporting into the Team Lead, the Technical Services Officer plays a pivotal role in providing technical service support across our network.

Responsibilities include the installation and configuration of hardware and software, analyses and rectification of faults, logs, and issues. The position also assists in planning and executing projects such as migrations, upgrades, and relocations, ensuring smooth transitions for our systems. Keeping up-to-date documentation on infrastructure, applications, and assets will also be a crucial aspect of your role.

About you

We're seeking individuals with highly developed technical and interpersonal skills, capable of hitting the ground running with following -

  • Provide technical support to users on site and via phone.
  • Install and maintain laptops, desktops, and printer.
  • L1 support of IT related incidents and request via incident management system
  • User creation and management via Active Directory

 

Effective communication with both technical and non-technical team members is a must, coupled with exceptional customer service skills and problem-solving abilities. With a commitment to excellence, you'll thrive on challenges and manage conflicting priorities with ease.

Desirable Qualifications:

While not a must, a Certificate level qualification in Information Technology showcases your dedication to the field. Bring your experience in technical service delivery to the table, ready to hit the ground running. Previous exposure to the financial industry adds value, providing insight into its unique technical needs.
