This position is located in Head Office - Armidale.

About The Role

The Manager Operations will be results oriented, supportive of their community and embrace the company's values and culture. This role encompasses the responsibility of effective people management; ensuring staff have the necessary competencies to perform the functions of their roles, contributing to the efficient operation of the Operational Support Team and the overall performance of Regional Australia Bank. You will be responsible for supporting the broader network in relation to their respective lending, deposit and transactional requirements.

Skills & Experience

Ideally the successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Operational Support Team ensuring a high standard of member and client frontline services by displaying friendly, responsive, courteous and effective communication to member enquiries.

The Operational Support team consists of the Lending Administration, Payment Services and Fraud Management Teams. Within these teams you will find a supportive and well-developed employee with outstanding knowledge of their fields. Within each team there is a dedicated specialist who is a leader within the department.

This role will be responsible for leading from the front with the successful applicant being able to communicate efficiently and effectively with management and staff members of Regional Australia Bank; they will be able to develop, foster and maintain effective networks by displaying confidence and using well developed communication skills. They will be able to adopt and adjust to change and its processes by setting priorities, planning workloads, meeting deadlines through the efficient use of time and resources.

How to Apply

To be successful in your application you will have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position with good experience in the development and implementation of management plans. You will have the ability to develop procedures and adapt to systems and processes; Strong communication skills, both written and verbal along with well-developed computer skills; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to coach staff; along with a demonstrated ability to manage a team of staff, maintaining a highly motivated, well trained and effective employee.
