Human Resources Team Leader

The Human Resources Team Leader role is a key leadership role in the Human Resources Department.

About the role

The HR Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager Operations and Human Resources in employee relations matters which includes enhancing employee engagement, developing, implementing, reviewing and advising on WHS, HR policies, processes, procedures, and initiatives across Regional Australia Bank. This role provides support to internal departments with the provision of timely advice and coaching about human resources matters including, new hire onboarding, performance management, talent development and guidance on change management, organisational development, minimising risk and proactive attraction and retention strategies.

This position is located in Head Office - Armidale.

Skills and Responsibilities

Essential
  • Diploma in Human Resources/or related discipline or extensive experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Well developed computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite/Camtasia/Captivate
  • Certificate IV in TAA
  • Current, unencumbered Drivers Licence
Desirable
  • Previous experience within a financial institution
  • Experience with change management
